Participation in ICAO NAM/CAR/SAM Regional UAS Webinar

Online - 1 October 2021

An online workshop took place on the 1st of October 2021 where EASA provided the representatives from South American, Caribbean and North American states with insights on the European regulations and approaches towards managing UAS/RPAS operations. This workshop took place within the context of the Second Unmanned Aircraft Systems – Remote Piloted Aircraft Systems Implementation/Regulation Workshop for the NAM/CAR/SAM Regions organised by ICAO.

The focal points gained insights into the European regulatory frameworks governing UAS. This activity aimed at encouraging the application of European approaches to the management of UAS/RPAS operations in the region, which would increase safety and facilitate access for industry and operators. ​
