ICAO Workshop on centralisation of Flight Plan (FPL) management

On 30 March 2021, within the framework of the European Union-Latin America and Caribbean Aviation Partnership Project (EU-LAC APP), EASA and EUROCONTROL took part in the ICAO Workshop on centralisation of Flight Plan (FPL) management with more than 100 participants from the South American region, including personnel from IATA, regional authorities, service providers and industry.
EASA and EUROCONTROL provided a joint presentation on the European approach to regionally centralised flight plan management and the latest developments in Europe in this area and reflected on the applicability of this concept within the context of the South American region.
EASA and EUROCONTROL will continue to cooperate in advancing the performance of civil aviation in the region within the context of the EU-LAC APP.
