Cooperation with AFAC Mexico in the areas of CORSIA and SSP

The EU LAC APP team conducted a number of kick-off meetings to start the cooperation with AFAC (Federal Civil Aviation Agency) Mexico in the areas of CORSIA and SSP within the framework of the EU LAC APP project. These cooperation activities will be supported by AESA (Spanish Aviation Safety and Security Agency) experts and will be part of the Project Work Plan for 2021. They will also contribute to the effective implementation of the Working Arrangement between EASA and AFAC signed in 2019. The EU-LAC APP project is funded by the European Commission and implemented by EASA.
