ICAO Risk Based Surveillance Workshop

Lima, Peru - 10 - 20 March 2018

The workshop was organised by ICAO North American, Central American and Caribbean (NACC), and South American (SAM) Regions.

It was very practical and tackled experiences and solutions to implement Risk-based oversight. Topics such as how RBO links to SSP and the IT tools available to support Data Drive Decision making were presented by ICAO. The other Authorities presented how they understand and implemented RBO according to the national and Authority culture.

The workshop was attended by around 120 delegates, mainly from the CAAs of Central and South American States. Invited speakers came from ICAO HQ, EASA and from the CAA of Canada, France, UK and Singapore.
