Cybersecurity in Aviation and ATM insights

The primary objective of the workshop is:

- To share the EU’s experience in aviation cybersecurity, including the challenges and threats encountered, as well as the regulatory responses formulated.

- To demonstrate the implications of security breaches on aviation safety and the potential operational disruptions they can cause.

Envisaged results/outcomes:

- Improved awareness and understanding among the participants of the critical nature of cybersecurity in aviation.

- Establishment of a framework for the identification and protection of safety critical ICT systems in aviation, based on risk assessments.

- Adoption of best practices and measures such as security by design and information security risk management system.
