Aerodrome Certification Workshop with CASSOS & Caribbean States

Within the framework of the EU-LAC-APP project funded by the EU, to support the Caribbean Regional Safety Oversight Organisation (CASSOS), EASA is implementing an Aerodromes Certification Workshop with the support of experts from AESA Spain.

This workshop provides insight into the EU regulatory frameworks, standards, tools and procedures, as well as the practical experience of the aerodrome certification process from a Civil Aviation Authority perspective. The workshop aims to provide participating States a reference for implementation through the European approach.

The participants comprise personnel from authorities in Barbados, Haiti, Guyana, Jamaica, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, as well as the Eastern Caribbean Civil Aviation Authority.
