(1.3.4) Support to strategic plan for the Colombian aviation - Report-Continuation (Support to the Implementation of the new organization)

Colombia - 01 February - 01 December 2020

To provide support and advise to the Colombian Authority during the implementation of the new organisation based on the analysis and conclusions provided by the EU-LAC APP in the previous phase of this task.

EASA through the EU-LAC APP is supporting Colombia with the implementation of the transformation project together with Aerocivil. Our expert is part of the "transformation team" of five people, coordinating the most strategic part.

Main expected results are:

1. An improvement project on the part of the organization during the transition period
2. A communication strategy to the organization about the transformation, which will be used for a period of two or three years and which will be aligned with its change management project,
3. A reorganization project that the government has to approve and that is expected to be ready by the beginning of 2021, (after all the Ministerial procedures)
4. A portfolio of transformation projects, which includes most of the recommendations EASA made in 2019, including topics from the Colombian Air Navigation Plan
